A Dutch multinational payroll, tax and corporate secretarial services firm was looking to establish a presence in Ghana without setting up a new company from the ground up. They proposed that we help them find a suitable local partner to whom they could sub-contract their business activities within Ghana. We scanned the Ghanaian market for small to mid-sized companies offering the same services, did a ranking in order of preference and set up meetings between the companies and the client’s representative. Our client was so satisfied after the first meeting that they immediately engaged our proposed company as their Ghanaian subcontractor. A few months later, with our assistance they initiated moves to acquire the company.
