After Green Tropics initially approached MindNET to do a solar installation at their cocoa training facility near Nkawkaw, the two parties went into negotiations for over a period of 3-4 months.

Green Tropics wanted a simple installation, so MindNET conducted a site visit and determined a 2 KW solar array to be adequate for the demands of the training facility.

There was numerous back and forth over the invoice quotation, but eventually the parties were able to agree on a fee, and over a period of two days, MindNET were able to procure the items and transport them to site for installation.

Green Tropics are an NGO that support and act as an incubator for upcoming cocoa farmers. They provide inputs and build capacity.
