Solar Installation at resident’s home in Regimanuel Gray Estate

Summary: A family approached MindNET to seek out a solution to their high electricity bills. MindNET proposed a solar system installation which the family agreed to, with the payments spread over a 4 month period.

The family in mention had been paying over 3000 GHC every month for their electricity bills. Burdened by expenditures they approached MindNET, who they knew had experience in proposing energy solutions, and tasked them with the job of reducing their monthly bill. MindNET immediately suggested solar and began coordinating with their main solar contractor Power World to deliver a solution.

Before anymore conversations were had, MindNET conducted an energy audit of the house’s load. This consisted of noting the appliances in the house, their wattage, and hours used on a daily basis. Consequently, MindNET provided 3 options for the residents to reduce their bill, 2 of which were solar based solutions.

After a couple weeks of negotiations, MindNET and the residence put pen to paper enabling work to begin. A site inspection was conducted, then a week was used to procure all the necessary equipment, before finally setting the date for the installation. The installation was completed on April 18 2018 after a total of 2 days work.
