In 2015 we assisted several small scale Ghanaian producers to find international buyers for their products. One consistent problem we faced was in meeting international quality and finishing standards. We found a huge opportunity for exporting and selling certified organic products made from natural ingredients like shea butter, cocoa butter, moringa oil, etc, which are in abundant supply in Ghana. To fill this demand we decided to set up our own brand where we could have control over the quality and finishing standards required to compete in international markets. Within 6 months we built up an entire international brand from scratch, ending up with a range of pure organic cosmetics and soaps which are currently being sold online in Japan via www.jujubody.com and managed by our sister company VIVIA Japan Inc. Our local team still handles sourcing and export of the raw materials, and this a service we are able to offer other companies as well.
