In 2014 and 2015, we owned and operated Ghana’s first premium online fashion and lifestyle store. It provided a platform for producers and retailers of the best fashion and lifestyle products to reach Ghanaian customers online. In due course we began to attract the attention of foreign brands as well. Our proposition to these foreign brands was to provide an avenue for them to test their products within the Ghanaian market, without having to invest in brick and mortar stores or expensive marketing campaigns. We reached out to major international brands and received positive responses from most of them. Our engagement with Crocs was particularly strong and they ended up awarding us with the exclusive franchise for importing and distribution their products in Ghana.
